A narcotic is also another form of medication to treat back pain. There are some negative thoughts about this drug because it is usually associated with illegal drugs. This has been a very effective means to ease a patient from back pain that’s why some individuals get too dependent from it. Because of this dependence, drug overdose might be experienced. Some of the negative effects of narcotic overdose are euphoria, arousable somnolence, nausea, pinpoint pupils and hypoxia. If narcotic was combined with other drugs during overdose, coma and seizures might occur. Aside from these, there is also a grouo of drugs called muscle relaxant. This medication works by decreasing the tone of muscles. Usually, this medication is used to treat low back pain. Like most medication, improper use of this could lead to harmful effects. The most common negative effects are blurry vision or double vision, dizziness and lightheadedness. There are lots of treatments for back pain that are available in the market. It just takes a matter of having the discipline and knowing the right amount of dosage necessary for your case of back pain to avoid having harmful effects in your body.
